Cherry Oak

Welcome to Cherry Oak, a fantasy horse RPG. We are a newly founded website based on a Dutch RPG owned by one of our current staff members. We have an elaborate setting based on medieval-ish dramas with a central source of magic. We provide a setting which include a legend, history and current events. Feel free to either follow these current events or simply place your characters inside these lands and let them find their own path. You are in no way obligated to use all of the aspects of this site but you are more than welcome to do so if you want. On a side note yet in no way unimportant: we are an international forum which means you can RP in any language you want (providing there's someone else who speaks your language). Read the plot and begin your adventure in the lands of the Cherry Oak.

We support character development, plotting and a welcoming atmosphere and boo on out of character drama and pressurised role-playing. Whatever you do, have fun doing it.

Okay. I have been on forums, but none like your website and have never RPGed before. Could someone possibly explain it?

We are a play by post role play which mean you can type what your character does in response to other characters (played by other members). [link] > this link gives some basic info on the concept. You can find multiple boards on our forum such as out of character, info but also boards for role playing (situated within our made up world). You should read the guide as perfectperfection mentioned and you can find into about registering on this link [link] . You can create your own character and play it within our setting and interact with the other characters (all horses). If you need any information or a guide you can find us on the forum where we can help you a bit more. We hope to see you around at CO!

You just register, that's all you have to do haha
just read through the guide about the setting and rules: [link]

and register with one normal account, for instance; Fahliadne, and then make different account for every horse you want to join with. In your controls you can link them so you can easily switch (:

If we are going to join the RPG are we allowed to make our own characters? And if so what are our limits and regulations?

RULES
Before you read on and register, it is important that you read through the following bullets and decide whether or not you satisfy them.
Minimum age is 16 years
Minimum words per post is 300
Maximum number of horses in the first month, per member is 3
Broad vocabulary; no Mickey Mouse sentences
RPG experience is not required, but being open to learn is

Every post (or quest) that you make in character gets cherries, these are a currency to pay with in the shop. In this shop you can buy several things for your horse (and if the item is not available we will add it), this way you can make them as extraordinary as you would like. Just remember that these things can't be present when your horse enters the land of the Cherry Oak, every newly registered horse has to be a normal, realistic horse. During the game you'll be able to turn them into anything you would like them to be.



At the moment I am working on a guide for characters who have always been magical (even before co) and how we maybe can allow them to be magical upon entering. But for now the guides above apply.

And perhaps a suggestion, maybe you could roll die for people to enter to apply with magic that way it seems fair/easier. :) But only a suggestion! Lovely site, can't wait for it to open!

Deze group word enkel gebruikt om artwork te verzamelen, niet als een basis voor het uitwisselen en creeren van art. Dit kan allemaal op de site zelf gedaan worden als we open gaan.
